When and where does the NY Alliance Pre & Annual Conference take place?

The Pre-Conference will take place on Tuesday, April 14 and the Annual Conference will take place from April 15-17 at The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, NY.

Please note that registration is separate for the pre-conference and annual conference however there is a ticket to register for both at a discounted rate for NY Alliance members. Click the register button in the menu above to learn more about costs.

Who attends the Annual Conference?

Typical attendees from provider organizations include but are not limited to:

executive leadership
program directors and managers
direct support professionals and frontline supervisors
care coordinators
clinical staff
board members

In addition to provider organization staff, many others within the I/DD field attend including but not limited to:

self-advocates
family members
policymakers and stakeholders
state agency representatives
organizations that offer supports and services to providers

This event is designed to offer something for everyone!

What are the registration costs to attend?

Your registration rate will vary depending on your membership status with the NY Alliance and whether you will be registering for the Pre-Conference only, the Full Conference only or the Pre-Conference & Annual Conference.

Discounted registration rates are available to current members of the NY Alliance.

I am trying to register, but I only see the non-member registration rate and I know I'm a member. What do I do?

To register at the NY Alliance member discounted registration rate, you must be logged in to your nyalliance.org account.

If you have a login account and do not remember your password, click the Forgot Password on any login screen. If you don't have an account or are unsure if you are a member, email nyaii@nyalliance.org.

Can I register more than one person from my organization at a time?

Yes! On the Tickets page during the registration process, change the number in the quantity box from 1 to the number of people you are registering and click "add". You will be able to enter the names and other information about everyone in the box that pops up on the screen.

I already registered for the conference, does that include my hotel reservation?

No, your conference registration does not include overnight accommodations. To reserve overnight accommodations, click the Hotel Reservations tab in the menu at the top of this page to learn more about the options available.

I already registered and do not have a reservation at The Sagamore, will I be able to participate in meals?

If you have purchased meal tickets through the form included in your registration confirmation, yes, you will be able to participate in meals throughout the conference.

If you have not purchased meal tickets, please do so using the link in your registration confirmation as soon as possible.

I already registered and cannot attend anymore. Can I cancel my registration?

Registration cancellations must be received in writing to nyaii@nyalliance.org on or before March 25, 2026 in order to receive a refund less a $50 administrative charge. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after March 25, 2026.

If I have to cancel, can I transfer my registration to someone else instead?

Yes, substitutions are welcome and encouraged for any registrant who needs to cancel. Email the NY Alliance at nyaii@nyalliance.org with the name of the person who will attend in your place at any time leading up to the event.

Who exhibits at the NY Alliance Annual Conference?

The NY Alliance Annual Conference is a top event for providers of services and the professionals who provide support to people with I/DD each year. Exhibitors include organizations that offer products and services that enhance all aspects of providing services and administrative services.

Can my organization exhibit at the Annual Conference?

If we still have room in the Exhibit hall, yes! Contact Lisa Mount at lmount@nyalliance.org to learn more about the options and availability for your organization.
